This page explains how Build With Me Ghana expects this control to work on the platform. It is written as operational guidance for customers, providers, and support teams.
What this covers
- Buyer Protection is the set of platform controls used to reduce avoidable risk when a customer buys land, houses, materials, digital products, labour, unique contract services, or construction support through Build With Me Ghana.
- The platform records orders, payments, fulfilment choices, uploaded documents, confirmations, escrow events where applicable, and support conversations so each transaction has an auditable trail.
Protected transaction controls
- Listings that require admin moderation are not meant to become publicly visible until reviewed.
- Land and house transactions use transfer and documentation checks before escrow can be released.
- Materials use storage, pickup, or delivery fulfilment choices so the customer and fulfilment party know what is expected.
- Digital products such as building plans and estimates become available in the customer dashboard after purchase.
Customer responsibilities
- Use the platform messaging, upload, payment, and confirmation tools instead of moving the transaction off-platform.
- Review listing details, verification badges, estimate tables, delivery or pickup choices, and any required documents before confirming completion.
- Raise a support ticket quickly if a listing, payment, document, delivery, or service outcome looks wrong.
When to contact support
- Payment was made but the order, wallet entry, download, or service request is not visible.
- A vendor asks you to pay outside the platform.
- The item or service delivered is materially different from what was approved or purchased.
- A transfer, fulfilment, delivery, or service completion is being disputed.
Need help? If your case does not match this guidance, submit a support request so the team can review the exact transaction, document, wallet event, or service record.
